Jellystone

OK folks, it’s been a while since I posted an update, and some of you have started asking – we are going to go with Jellystone in Burleson this year. Prices went up a little since I originally posted in the Planning For 2024 – Jellystone? post here, but the idea is the same.

Everyone will be responsible for making their own reservations. I’m getting in contact with a group coordinator to see if we can work out some discounts, but here are the basics as they stand right now.

You can get anything from a tent site that sleeps up to 6 people for 71.67 per night, up to a 2 bedroom cabin that sleeps up to 10 people for 310.33 per night, with varying prices in between.

But there are some add-ons.

1) Jellystone requires anyone over 2 years old to have a daily pass that gets them into the activites, including the water park. That is $22 per day, so $66 per person.

2) We are asking all of the adults to also pay a $60 reunion fee (one fee, not per night) to help us offset the cost for the kids, and pay for any food or incidentals we need to buy. We are going to try to pay the $22 daily fee for all of the children that go, but that will depend on how many adults (18+) sign up.

This means that a single person with no kids, who works with others to share a tent site, can do the reunion for as little as $234 for the 3-day weekend ($36 per night + $22 per day + $60 reunion fee).

Please go to Jellystone’s website (https://www.northtexasjellystone.com/) to get ideas about accommodations and pricing. Keep in mind the $22 per day charge for anyone over 2 years or older (though we’re going to try to pay for the kids under 18), and also keep in mind that I’m going to work with them to see what kind of discounts we can get as a group. I should have more information by this weekend.
